Focused website.

$1,250–$2,200

For a local business that needs a clear, manageable place on the web.

  • A focused 1–3 page structure
  • Design for phones, tablets, and desktops
  • A clear contact or inquiry path
  • Metadata, indexing, and local search foundations
  • Agreed content work and a launch plan

The lower end fits a smaller, ready-to-build scope. Content creation, extra pages, and more involved functionality change the work.

Custom site or redesign.

$2,500–$8,000

For more content, a more involved structure, or a site your business has outgrown.

  • Page planning around your customers
  • Custom design and development
  • Content management where it is useful
  • Existing-content review and migration planning
  • Testing, review, and an agreed handoff

Stores, advanced booking, outside integrations, and larger migrations need a project-specific quote. Hosting and outside subscriptions are explained separately.

Buying, booking,
and the work
behind the page.

A site may need more than information. We can build ecommerce, appointment requests, forms, and connections to tools you use. We first check whether an existing platform is the practical answer.

What makes the scope bigger?

  • Product catalogs, variants, shipping, tax, and checkout
  • Availability, appointment rules, reminders, and payments
  • Copywriting, photography direction, and content preparation
  • Editing tools, structured content, or multiple contributors
  • Moving an old site while preserving useful links
  • Connecting business tools and managing sensitive information

Bring what you have. We can help with the words, structure, and photo direction; the quote says how much is included.

    Talk and agree on scope

Describe your customers and the job. We agree on pages, features, price, payment schedule, responsibilities, and review points before work starts.

  2. 2

    Design, build, and review

We work through content and design, build the site, and use Client Preview for private presentations and feedback. Included revisions are part of your scope.

  3. 3

    Launch and look after it

We plan the changeover, check important links and forms, and agree on access and handoff. Hosting and ongoing care are available separately.

Client Preview keeps a private presentation and feedback with the work. Field Notes gives technical writing a public home. The event photo system gives each person a private delivery link. These are real systems built by the studio.

Before you commission a website.

What does a focused website include?

The $1,250–$2,200 range covers a focused 1–3 page site: clear page structure, responsive design, contact flow, and a search foundation. We confirm the pages, content work, and technical requirements in your quote. Online stores and booking platforms need a separate scope and quote.

Can you redesign my current site?

Yes. We review what works, what content should move, existing links, your domain, and the current hosting before proposing a replacement. We plan the changeover and redirects rather than taking the old site down at the start.

Do you help with words and photos?

Yes. Page structure, copywriting, and photography direction are established services. We agree on how much writing, editing, and image sourcing the project includes. Existing photos must be yours to use; new photography or image licensing is discussed separately.

Can I update the website myself?

If you need to edit content regularly, we can include a content management system. We decide which areas you should edit and include that setup in scope. A very small site may be simpler to maintain through an agreed care plan.

Can customers buy or book online?

Yes, we build online shops and booking flows. Products, payments, shipping, tax, appointment rules, and outside subscriptions affect the work. These need a project-specific quote; they are not automatically included in a small website price.

What about my domain and ownership?

Keep control of your domain account. Before work starts, we identify the accounts, content, code, licenses, and access involved and put the ownership and handoff terms in writing. Bring details of the existing setup; keep passwords out of the inquiry form.

How do payment and revisions work?

Your written scope sets the payment schedule, review points, and included revisions before you approve the project. Changes to the agreed scope are discussed before extra work. You’ll know the payment and review arrangements before deciding.

How will I review the work?

Client Preview gives a project a private presentation link and access code, with the current work and a place for feedback. It helps keep the conversation attached to the design. It is not a public account or customer portal.

What happens after launch?

We agree on the handoff and any ongoing care before launch. Managed hosting and care is $75–$175 / mo. The scope explains updates, backups, content edits, outside costs, and support responsibilities.

What do you actually need?

Start with the result you want. This is a guide to the services, not a quote or diagnosis.

Which sounds closest?

Tell us what your customers need to do.

Your business, an existing website, and the thing that is not working are enough for a first conversation. Include a budget or target date if you have one.
