Founded in 2012, theProject. is an independent design and technology studio creating identities, websites, applications, interfaces, and the systems that help them last.
How the practice works
The studio works across design, software, content, and the systems around them because those problems rarely arrive in neat separate boxes. A website can be a brand problem, a publishing problem, a software problem, and a trust problem at the same time.
We start by making the condition understandable. Then we decide what needs to be designed, what must be built, and what must stay reliable after the launch date passes.
Hellertown is the base. The Lehigh Valley is the immediate context. Remote work extends the practice; it does not replace a direct working relationship. Local when proximity matters, remote when it does not.
The work can be ambitious without making the person asking for it feel small.

Identity, interface, content, software, launch, and ongoing care are connected. One studio can keep those pieces moving in the same direction.

Local is useful when it means a direct conversation, attention to context, and someone who still answers after launch.
