Start with the job.
Then choose
the software.

Need an iPhone or Android app? An internal dashboard, estimate system, or scheduling tool? We can help plan the features, design the screens, build the software, and prepare it for release.

Sometimes a website or a tool you already pay for is enough. We’ll look at that before proposing a custom build.

Discuss an app or software project

Website

People open it in a browser to learn, read, contact, book, or buy. Usually the starting point for explaining a business or reaching new customers.

Website scope & prices

Mobile app

Installed on a phone or tablet. Useful when repeated use, notifications, device features, native interaction, or app-store distribution are central to the product.

Discuss a mobile app

Custom software

A tool built around a particular job: estimates, inventory, scheduling, customer workflows, or office operations. It may run in a browser without being a marketing website.

Describe the job

Automation

Connect or change existing tools so people repeat fewer manual steps. A small connection or process change can be more appropriate than a new application.

See automation

A useful first brief
fits on one page.

Describe one person doing one important task. What do they need to accomplish, what do they use now, and where does it become difficult?

You can bring a sketch or a spreadsheet. Do not send private customer records, passwords, or live account access in the inquiry.

  • Who will use it, and how often?
  • What is the first version required to do?
  • What data does it handle, and who may see it?
  • Does it need phone features or work offline?
  • Which existing tools must it connect to?
  • Who will maintain it after release?

These answers shape the price. Accounts, permissions, sensitive data, outside APIs, offline behavior, and multiple platforms add real work.

Apps & larger custom software
Project-specific quote
We quote app projects after discussing features, platforms, testing, release preparation, and ongoing support.
Defined workflow / internal tool
$1,500–$6,000
This range covers a defined workflow or internal tool. Larger applications need a separate scope and quote.
Working consultation
$250
If a paid planning session is useful, agree on its question and deliverable first. An initial inquiry does not book a paid session.

Make the first version a clear decision.

  1. 1

    Define the essential task

Choose users, core features, data needs, and what the first version can leave out. Consider existing tools and a browser-based option.

  2. 2

    Design and test the workflow

Review screens and behavior before building the whole application. Agree on access, errors, privacy, and acceptance criteria.

  3. 3

    Build and prepare release

Implement and test the agreed scope. Confirm hosting or store accounts, handoff, maintenance, and release requirements. Store approval is not guaranteed.

Client Preview keeps a private presentation and feedback with the work. Field Notes gives technical writing a public home. The event photo system gives each person a private delivery link. These are real systems built by the studio.

A few useful answers.

Can you build for iPhone and Android?

We can discuss both platforms. The right implementation depends on device features, budget, performance, and release requirements. We confirm the supported platforms and delivery approach in your scope.

Do I need an app-store app?

Not necessarily. A browser-based tool may reach users with less installation and release overhead. A mobile app is useful when phone capabilities and repeated native use justify it.

What about security and ownership?

Before building, we agree on who can use the software, what information each person may see, and how accounts and private data are protected. Your agreement also explains ownership, account access, handoff, and ongoing support.

What happens after release?

Software needs updates, dependency maintenance, support, and sometimes changing vendor or store requirements. We agree on that work and any recurring costs before release; it is not implied to be included forever.

What do you actually need?

Start with the result you want. This is a guide to the services, not a quote or diagnosis.

Which sounds closest?

Describe the task you wish were easier.

A problem, the people affected, and the tools in use are enough to begin. We’ll help decide whether you need an app, a website, an automation, or a simpler process.

Discuss an app or software project

A request starts a conversation. Work begins after you approve the scope and cost.
